Singapore scientists turn waste paper into battery parts for smartphones and electric vehicles using a greener process

Waste paper may have a second life beyond recycling bins. Scientists at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, have developed a way to turn discarded paper from packaging, bags and cardboard boxes into a part of lithium-ion batteries.
