Bangladesh Election Result 2026: BNP leads with 212 seats, Jamaat-e-Islami-led alliance secures 70 seats as vote count continues

Unofficial results so far show Rahman's Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in a strong lead as Bangladesh continues to count votes. The BNP has earlier said that if elected to power, Tarique Rahman would become Bangladesh’s next prime minister.
